Missions...the heartbeat of God

Over the past fifty years, God has blessed Canaan Baptist Church in wonderful ways. One of the priorities of Canaan Baptist Church is reaching the world through our thriving missions ministry.Canaan Baptist currently supports more than 180 missionaries who are taking the gospel of Christ throughout the world, including five families that are sent out of our church. It can be said that the sun never sets on the ministry of Canaan Baptist Church. Through faith promise missions giving, the members of Canaan Baptist have made the financial support of global evangelization a high priority. We believe that missions is the heartbeat of God.

Canaan Baptist Church has two missions emphasis meetings each year. In June, we have missions awareness Sunday. In November we host our annual missions conference. These meetings are always a time of great excitement for our church.

In addition to our financial giving, Canaan is also honored that our pastor, Dr. Caudill, currently serves as the president of Macedonia World Baptist Missions. Dr. Caudill truly has a heart for reaching the world with the Gospel through missions.
